A spring event in Chikuma City, Nagano Prefecture, where you can view beautiful apricot blossoms at the apricot village spreading on the gentle slope. Apricot blossoms bloom in full glory across the fields, and the entire mountain village is filled with pale pink flowers. During the period, spots where apricot blossoms can be viewed such as the Apricot Village Sketch Park, Apricot Tea House, and Kamihira Observation Deck are opened, and food and sweets using apricots are sold at stores in various places in the city. Bus tours where you can enjoy apricot hanami while tasting local gourmet are also held.
