A major spring event held in Fukui Prefecture's capital, 'Fukui City.' In particular, the 'Asuwa River Cherry Tree Row,' one of Japan's Top 100 Cherry Blossom Spots, located a 10-minute walk from JR Fukui Station, has 600 cherry trees stretching 2.2 km along the embankment, and is loved by citizens as if it were a cherry blossom tunnel. At night, it is lightly illuminated in various colors, and the fantastic cherry blossoms—different from daytime—are also a highlight. Events are held during the period, making it a festival where you can fully enjoy Fukui's cherry blossoms.
