Located about 7 km south of the center of Kanoya City at about 160 m elevation, the entire park sits on gently rolling hills. From the observation deck, you can view Shibushi Bay to the east, Kinko Bay and Mt. Kaimon to the west, Sakurajima to the northwest, and the urban area to the northeast—a superb scenic location. There is a 'Kanoya Engawa' on the lawn plaza, where you can relax in an open space. About 450 cherry trees are planted within the park.
