Cherry trees of Kanasaki, planted by the Kanasaki Youth Group in 1925 (Taisho 14) to commemorate the marriage of the then Crown Prince (Emperor Showa). The sight of cherry blossoms in full bloom is full of charm. On clear days, you can see the Nikko mountain range from the cherry blossom row of about 200 trees along the Omoi River bank. Cherry blossom illumination is conducted during the festival period. Enjoy the night cherry blossoms illuminated by lights. On event days, plenty of fun plans including stages and stalls (set up by local groups)!
