The park spreads across the entire Godaisan area, with the observation terrace offering a panoramic view of Kochi City and Urado Bay. The night view is sometimes ranked alongside Hinoyama Park in Shimonoseki City and Haigamine Park in Kure City as a scenic spot. With camellias, cherry blossoms, azaleas, and maple trees, you can enjoy seasonal plants throughout the year. Adjacent to it is Chikurin-ji Temple, the 31st sacred site of the Shikoku 88 temples, and the Makino Botanical Garden, which commemorates the achievements of Makino Tomitaro, the world-renowned botanist from Kochi Prefecture.
