A park in Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture. The pond inside the park is 2.5 km in circumference and covers an area of 116,000 square meters. Cherry trees are planted to surround the pond, known as the 'Thousand Cherry Trees of Showa Pond.' Usually, the best viewing time for cherry blossoms is from late March to early April, when about 1,200 Yoshino cherry trees bloom and you can enjoy the beautiful scenery.
