A cherry tree avenue continuing about 1.5 km along Prefectural Road 300 (former National Route 4) heading from JR Hiraizumi Station toward Chusonji Temple in Hiraizumi Town, Iwate Prefecture. About 75 cherry trees including Yoshino are planted, blooming beautifully all at once in spring. With easy access of just 10 minutes on foot from JR Hiraizumi Station, you can enjoy spectacular cherry blossom scenery on the way to Chusonji Temple.
