From March 15th (Sunday), the 3rd term permanent exhibition of Reiwa 7th year, "Understanding and Enjoying the World of Ryukyu Lacquerware - The Work of the Kaizuri Bugyōsho", will be held. The Kaizuri Bugyōsho was the office in charge of lacquerware production within the royal government during the Ryukyu Kingdom era. This exhibition explores what kind of work was done there and what kind of lacquerware was produced, referencing information from historical documents.
