A clam digging spot on Kashima-Nada, just a short trip from the Tokyo metropolitan area. Popular with families with children due to its wide beach, with auto-camping grounds and bathing facilities nearby. Kashima-Nada hard clams and other shellfish can be collected, but in order to protect valuable bivalve resources, the clam digging area is designated, and there are restrictions on the amount and size that can be collected and the tools that can be used. Tools are not rented out, so participants must bring their own.
