Mt. Kagamiyama in Karatsu City, Saga Prefecture, stands about 300 meters tall behind Niji no Matsubara, one of the three great pine groves of Japan. About 5,000 cherry trees bloom along the 4 km road leading to the summit, creating a tunnel of cherry blossoms. From the summit, you can also see the beautiful Genkai Sea and the Niji no Matsubara, designated as a Special Place of Scenic Beauty - it's a spectacular spot.
