'Numata Park', representing Numata City as a famous cherry blossom spot, is also known as the location of 'Numata Castle' once ruled by the Sanada clan. Currently, the stone walls of the West Yagura platform remain, on which 'Goten Cherry', the symbol of Numata Park said to be about 400 years old, blooms. Additionally, cherries (about 200) surrounding the entire park let you feel the arrival of spring. The illuminated evening cherries are truly spectacular.
