There are about 3,000 cherry trees around Aki Dam, and the contrast they paint with the rape blossoms—the flower of Kunisaki City—is beautiful. When in full bloom, the dam also reflects the cherry blossom color, and the sight of the lake surface dyed entirely pink is full of charm. The illuminated, mysterious night cherry blossoms are also recommended. The Cherry Blossom Festival will be held on March 30 (Sun).
