Focusing on painters of the École de Paris, this special feature presents French paintings in the museum's collection. Starting with Laurencin, Picasso, and Chagall, you can also view works by Japanese painters who went to France, such as Foujita Tsuguharu. In addition, commemorating the 30th anniversary of Onta ware's designation as an Important Intangible Cultural Property, the exhibition introduces the charm of Onta ware that is still alive today, while touching on its relationship with the Mingei movement.
