The Beppu Hatto Onsen Festival is a festival held annually centered on Onsen Appreciation Day on April 1 and the weekend of the first week of April in Beppu City, Oita Prefecture, to give thanks for the rich blessings of the eight Beppu hot springs. Including 'Ogiyama Fire Festival' which performs no-yaki (field burning), mikoshi (portable shrines) parade around the shopping district, and 'Yu Bukkake Matsuri' (Hot Water Splashing Festival) is held on the street in front of the station. Also, various events are abundant at venues in each region.
