都麻（つま）とは、「播磨国風土記（はりまのくにふどき）」に見える古い里名で、今の西脇市中部にあたり、津万地区の名の由来となっている。都麻乃郷あじさい園は、敷地面積約12,000平方メートル、およそ3000株のあじさいの花が色鮮やかに咲き誇る、北播磨最大規模のあじさい園。日本あじさいを中心に、がくあじさい、山あじさい、柏葉あじさいなど、多くの種類が植えられている。開園期間中は多くの人が訪れる。
