Located upstream of the clear stream 'Okitsu River', Shimizu Forest Park offers various forest recreation and rural experiences. The vivid pink world of Kawazu cherry blossoms spreads across the peaceful countryside, full of charm in spring. The park also has hot springs and restaurants, and a cherry blossom festival is held around the usual peak bloom time.
