Rengeji-ike Park is a park themed around 'flowers, water, and birds,' delighting citizens with seasonal flowers throughout the year. Around the approximately 1.5 km pond, about 1,300 cherry trees bloom in competition. Somei Yoshino blooms from mid-March to early April, and Sato-zakura from early to late April, allowing visitors to enjoy them for a long period. In late spring, when the wisteria blooms, the Wisteria Festival is held. In a typical year, there are events on the outdoor music hall stage and food stalls. In summer, the lotus flowers, which are the namesake of the park, float beautifully on the pond. The park also has facilities such as a giant slide, children's plaza, Japanese garden, and outdoor music hall.
