A shibazakura event held on the grounds of Yamasa Chikuwa Co., Ltd., a fish cake manufacturer founded in 1916. Using the vast 6,500-square-meter sloped hillside behind the Yumeosaki factory, 210,000 moss phlox plants are cultivated and opened free of charge each year during peak bloom as the 'Shibazakura Path.' Visitors can also enjoy moss phlox designed in the shape of Yamasa's mascot character 'Sacchan's' face. On two days only (Friday April 24 and Saturday April 25), a 'Night Shibazakura Viewing' event illuminates the Shibazakura Path with approximately 3,000 candles.
