A large weeping cherry tree at 'Yonezawa Family,' the birthplace of 'Shoichi Kokushi,' who transmitted tea and cultivation methods to Shizuoka. About 20 m tall with branches spreading 17 m. Beginning to bloom in late March, its deep pink color vividly announces the arrival of spring.
