Hachimenyama, a symbol of Nakatsu City, was named so because it appears almost the same shape from all eight directions. At 659 m above sea level, you can see Mt. Yufu from the summit. Hachimenyama has 2 climbing trails and 2 promenades, allowing everyone from beginners to advanced hikers to enjoy according to their physical strength and mood. You can also drive near the summit and view the open scenery. Multiple cherry blossom spots are scattered along the climbing trails. Walking while enjoying hanami in clean air is also recommended.
