People tend to think that the style of displaying hina dolls on five or seven tiers with felt laid out and folding screens set around is the only tradition, but until around the early Showa period, there were various worlds of hina not only differing between Kanto and Kansai, but also by locality such as castle towns, regional cities, and farming villages. This exhibition focuses on local hina decorations and introduces the diversity of hina dolls that our ancestors loved. Total exhibits: about 160 sets.
