At Sakura no Sato in Ito City, Shizuoka Prefecture, 40 species and 1000 cherry trees are planted in a vast 40,000 square meter garden, and various varieties of cherry blossoms bloom from late September to May. The Somei Yoshino cherry blossoms that bloom from around early April are especially spectacular when in full bloom. Since it is a lawn park, you can bring a lunch and enjoy a relaxing day.
