Since ancient times, painters and ceramic artists have been drawn to flowers, depicting their forms and colors, and capturing them in vessels, expressing the relationship between humans and nature. This exhibition introduces oil paintings and Japanese-style paintings of 'flowers' mainly by Japanese painters from the Meiji period onward, along with tea utensils, plates, and vases featuring flower motifs by ceramic artists.
